  • Cyborg: Oh, yeah! It's TV night!
  • Beast Boy: Let's numb our minds, yo!
  • Beast Boy: Blah, there's nothing good on tonight.
  • Control Freak: Stop... [Switches.] changing... [Switches.] the... [Switches.] CHANNEL!
  • Robin: Control Freak, your evil pop culture references aren't welcome here! What is the reasoning of this interruption?

So let's channel those kids, shall we?

O script inicial é do inicio do episódio #113 série 3 dos Teen Titans Go, "The Fourth Wall" 20 outubro 2015. Antes, apresentamos-te um excerto do episódio 116 série 3 do The Amazing World of Gumball, 9 julho 2015.

O episódio chama-se "The Money".

"new normal"? "the money"? oh-u-guys

  • Gumball: Look at me. What do you see? I'm still a child. Nothing in my life has been decided yet. I am free. I haven't sold out to a job I hate, I don't have to be part of this dirty rat race that ruined the world chasing money I don't need to buy stuff I don't want, I'm free to make my own choices! So yes, Larry, I will have fries with that.

The Amazing World of Gumball. Animator's delight no 7'41.

  • Larry: We're filming a commercial for Joyful Burger in here later.
  • Nicole: So?
  • Gumball: No! We're not gonna let ourselves be reduced to some clichés for a quick corporate buck! (...)
  • [holds the contract and makes a sound like burning it with fire]
  • Larry: What's that?
  • Gumball: I symbolically burned it. Because I'm not allowed to use a real lighter.
  • [Cut to a view of the Wattersons' house that night. Gumball suddenly screams and the family runs to the kitchen, where Gumball is]
  • Nicole: Now what?
  • Gumball: The fridge...!
  • Nicole: [looks in the fridge] What? There's nothing in here.
  • Gumball: Exactly! Where's all the food?
  • Nicole: Gumball, you were the one who wanted us to keep our dignity and not sell out. This is what happens when you can't buy things. You don't have things.
  • Gumball: Then why did you all listen to me?!
  • Darwin: What she's trying to say is, you're right. We shouldn't sell out.
  • Gumball: [smacks his lips] Funny, I thought victory tasted sweeter.
  • Darwin: What does it taste like?
  • Richard: [Shivers] Kinda like hunger.
  • Gumball: Come on, guys! We have to keep our credibility! It's all we have left! There's nothing else we can lose!

...e é tudo downhill dai em diante:

  • [Cut to a view of the Watterson's entire house being taken away.]
  • Gumball: Well, we lost everything, but hey! At least we stayed true to ourselves.
  • [Gumball suddenly loses all of his color]
  • Darwin, Anais, Nicole and Richard: What's going on?
  • Gumball: I guess it's like what people say! Without money, you're nothing.
  • Gumball: Ahh! Actually, I think it's way worse than that. When you don't have money, your whole world falls apart!

Minuto 7'40.

  • Nicole: OK, the time for principle is over. We're going to Joyful Burger and we're going to do that ad.
  • Gumball: Wait. Are we really going to become clichés of ourselves just to sell a few burgers? Isn't there a way to survive in this world without selling out? Not everything has a price! Some things are more precious than money! Like dignity! Freedom! Love! Sorry Larry, but you could have all the money in the world and you still couldn't afford the Wattersons!
  • [Larry shows Gumball the contract, which presumably shows the amount of money they will be paid on it. Gumball stares at it blankly for a few seconds before the screen cuts to a TV.]
  • Darwin: "Finally, a place I can call home! Thank you Joyful Burger!"

  • Cyborg: We're in a show?
  • Control Freak: No, you are a show.
  • At this very moment, you are being broadcast to TVs around the world!
  • People are watching us? Your every move!
  • The audience is watching you from just beyond the fourth wall. Look for yourself.
  • People are watching us without our permission?
  • Ew! What a bunch of creeps.
  • Creeps.
  • The creeps.
  • You fools be creepy.
  • This show was supposed to be my greatest achievement.
It was supposed to bring me awards and the respect of the entertainment industry.
    Instead, everyone thinks it's garbage!
  • Oh, I'm so sorry you didn't get any precious golden statues or industry accolades, but we don't care!
  • But you will.
  • That looks like us, but better!
  • We do smart people comedy from now on! Now, shut your butts and let's get highbrow.
  • Animation is created by countless talented animators laboring day and night to create the illusion of life.
  • And, in our case, they're doing a terrible job.
  • I am sure the animators are doing their very best with the limited budget and aggressive schedule.
  • This was your evil game the whole time!
  • I can't believe how easy it was to make you change everything about yourself.
  • No, we have to be true to ourselves.
Even if it means being rebooted.

  • Reboot us if you want, Control Freak, but we are proud of who we are and what we represent, and we are not changing any of that based on your evil whims.
  • We have to break the fourth wall! Then he won't be able to broadcast us!
- as tuas bds
- vai ver tv, já

Esta é extra, uma for tha Man.

  • STARFIRE: Why would the Beast Boy find employment here? It is the bland and the boring.
  • RAVEN: Like moths to a flame, adults are drawn to soul crushing office buildings.
  • STARFIRE: Ugh! How can a few teenagers fight such a mature and fiscally responsible foe?
  • ROBIN: By doing what teens do best! [POP MUSIC PLAYING]

Fuck it. Up next.
